MEDU 601 - Data-Driven Decision-Making 4.00 credit hours This course fosters the essential link between learning and assessment. Emerging theory on performance-based assessment, brain research and curriculum-aligned assessment are explored to better understand the fundamental nature of authentic assessment. Students engage in a systematic study of different methods of performance-based assessment. Hands-on experience is incorporated to apply these methods and develop effective performance assessments for the classroom.
Prerequisite(s): MEDU 500 .
