ENGL 240 - Beginning Poetry2.00 credit hours Practice in the writing of poetry, with attention paid to the various techniques, approaches—free verse or formal verse—and the close reading of contemporary poets. Introduction to workshop-based peer critique and a regular writing and revision practice.
