                  ENGL 200 - Gateway: Introduction to English4.00 credit hours   This gateway course introduces critical and creative methods with a focus on close reading and effective writing. Theoretical and imaginative approaches are explored and practice given in reading, writing and analyzing a variety of texts. Students are introduced to disciplinary conventions and basic research strategies in English.
