MTCH 662 - Elementary Literacy Methods and Assessment II 4.00 credit hours
Prepares teacher candidates to know, understand, and use concepts from reading, language and child development to teach various literacy skills to students in elementary and middle grades and assess literacy development. Candidates will develop techniques to support students in applying their developing literacy skills to different situations, materials and ideas. This will include a focus on writing, speaking and listening skills within the literacy curriculum.
Prerequisite(s): MTCH 530 .
