NURS 523 - Advanced Nurse Specialist Practicum Capstone 3.00 credit hours
This practicum course is a culminating experience designed to provide advanced nurse specialists with an opportunity to apply advanced nursing knowledge and skills acquired throughout the traditional Master of Science in nursing to implement and evaluate a quality or systems improvement project in a practicum setting. This course includes 200-250 clock hours of mentored practice experience. The capstone project, previously planned in NURS 522 , reflects the integration of theory, evidence and inter-professional perspectives.
