DOTD 800 - Evidence Based Practice I 3.00 credit hours
This course will require the students to identify evidence-based practice in the field of occupational therapy. The student will be able to identify the difference between quantitative and qualitative studies. They will learn to identify quality peer reviewed research. The course will also begin the process of how to apply evidence-based practice to the selection of treatment for clients and in future course work. The students will begin the process of developing their own evidence-based practice for application in the field of occupational therapy.
