NURS 540 - Mental Health Nurse Practitioner: Synthesis Lifespan and Continuum of Care - Clinical II 4.00 credit hours
The second of 2 practicum courses of which are a synthesis of care and continuum of care of the patient with psychiatric, mental health and addictive disorders. Knowledge of psychopathology, psychopharmacology and psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of mental health and addictive disorders is practice in the primary care setting in patients across the lifespan. The focus of this practicum course is on the full role of the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in the mental health setting.
