NURS 533 - Psychiatric Assessment Across the Lifespan 3.00 credit hours
This course focuses on advanced communication skills and comprehensive history-taking techniques, psycho-social and physical assessment skills, screening/diagnostic testing and diagnostic reasoning skills required in advanced nursing practice. An emphasis is on advanced practice registered nurses developing these skills to provide psychiatric and mental health care across the lifespan from an evidence-based, culturally responsive perspective.
