NURS 524 - Primary Care Adolescents/Adult 4.00 credit hours
This course provides advanced practice registered nurses with knowledge for primary care of the adolescent and adult patient with complex health needs across the care continuum. The emphasis will be on gaining the knowledge necessary to prevent, diagnose and manage both acute and chronic health problems. The focus is on management of adolescent and adult patients from diverse backgrounds with health problems. Strategies to eliminate health disparities will be explored.
