NURS 523 - Nurse Executive Leader Capstone Practicum: Implementation and Evaluation

2.00 credit hours
This practicum course is a culminating experience designed to provide nurse executive leaders with an opportunity to apply nursing leadership knowledge and skills acquired throughout the MSN program to implement and evaluate a leadership quality or systems improvement project in a healthcare setting. This course includes 112 clock hours of mentored practice experience. The capstone project, previously planned in NURS 522 , reflects the integration of theory, evidence and inter-professional perspectives. Completion of facility requirements: affiliation agreement, background check, copy of active unencumbered RN license and immunizations, as needed by institution.
