NURS 519 - Building Effective Business Communication and Relationships 2.00 credit hours
This course focuses on business correspondence, communication technologies and effective communication strategies for the nurse executive leader to utilize to promote positive and healthy relationships in a variety of healthcare settings. Principles and practices underlying effective global business communication are considered. Related topics include business ethics and evolving factors that affect business communication in healthcare. Group processes within the context of the healthcare environment and communication with diverse populations across the lifespan are explored.
