NURS 517 - Principles of Business and Finance in Healthcare Systems

3.00 credit hours
This course focuses on providing the nurse executive leader with a basis for understanding the fiscal status of healthcare organizations. Explores the economic and financial factors affecting healthcare delivery in a complex healthcare environment. Principles of healthcare economics, third party reimbursement, budget, variance and economic evaluation methods are considered.
