NURS 510 - Nursing Educator Capstone Project: Planning 3.00 credit hours
This capstone planning course is builds on the concepts and knowledge gained from previous graduate nursing courses allowing for the application of theories and concepts associated with student-centered teaching and learning and nursing education. The NURS 514 clinical practicum which follows this course, enhances this entire process. Students will develop and plan a student-centered, evidence-based teaching/learning project for their workplace which integrates standards of professional nursing performance, ethical, legal and regulatory compliance in the healthcare practice setting. A practicum mentor will be approved.
