NURS 509 - Facilitating Student Learning and Teaching Innovation 3.00 credit hours
This course is designed to prepare nurse educators to develop and facilitate educational courses and programs, utilizing best teaching practices, in a variety of academic settings. Exploration of the shift from teacher-centered approach to student-centered approach is discussed. There is an emphasis on analyzing pedagogical philosophies, adult learning theories, ethical issues, professional values and integration of new technology in instructional design and delivery related to nursing education.
