MEDU 501 - Trauma and Its Effects on Health and Learning 3.00 credit hours
(Same as: MHTS 501 .) Introduces the influence of trauma events on the health and learning of children and adults by exploring the impact of these events in diverse settings such as health care and medicine, social and human service, schools and community-based organizations. Various trauma-informed practice philosophies related to working in schools and youth organizations are examined.
