HTSC 100 - First Aid and Personal Safety

2.00 credit hours
Teaches critical first aid and CPR skills with a focus on emotional and physical safety related to one’s health and well-being during and after an incident. Skills covered in this course prepare students to respond to breathing, cardiac, traumatic and medical emergencies and environmental and physical injuries. Students who successfully complete this course and pass the required examinations receive a HeartSaver Certificate through the American Heart Association that is valid for two years.
