MUSI 360 - Jazz Arranging and Composition I4.00 credit hours Topics in jazz composition and arranging introduced through the exploration and analysis of jazz repertoire. Topics include arranging and composition for rhythm section and for jazz combos with two to four horns. Elements of big band arranging are introduced as well. Arrangements are performed by student groups.
Prerequisite(s): MUSI 261 .
