ECON 240 - Introduction to Environmental Economics4.00 credit hours (Same as: ENVI 240 .) Environmental Economics primarily examines the impact of economic activity on the environment and the shortcomings of the market system in valuing environmental costs and benefits. The focus of the course is the recent development and application of new and potential economic instruments to improve environmental quality.
