The Applied Artificial Intelligence minor equips students to develop AI solutions enabling learners from all disciplines to integrate AI effectively in their workflows. Through hands-on coursework, students learn essential computing skills beyond basic prompt engineering, including fundamental programming, basic algorithms, and AI model integration. They utilize tools like large language models, build or modify AI-enhanced applications, and study real-world problems in a capstone project. An elective in entrepreneurship or advanced AI/computing allows focus based on student interest.
