Requirements
A major in Spanish consists of at least 30 credit hours at the level of SPN 201 or above, including three credit hours at the 400-level, and a minimum of one ten-week term of study in a Spanish-speaking country. During the term abroad, a minimum of six credit hours must be earned in the Spanish language. Additional Courses
Students seeking a major in the modern languages are strongly encouraged to take additional language coursework beyond the minimum major requirements. A typical student majoring French, German or Spanish with a Secondary Education Supplemental major will need 122-124 total credit hours to graduate. |
