PHY 245 - Physics V: Quantum Physics2.50 credit hours An introduction to quantum physics. Statistical interpretation of the wave function, the Schrödinger equation, analysis of one-dimensional potentials, introduction to the hydrogen atom and the electronic structure of atoms. Laboratory required.
Prerequisite(s): PHY 244 and MTH 152 .
