ENG 207 - Nineteenth- and Twentieth-Century American Literature3.00 credit hours An introduction to the literature of the United States and the American diaspora from the early national period to the Cold War era. Students examine fiction and nonfiction texts and their relationship to the dominant modes of American romance, realism, modernism and postmodernism.
