EDN 331 - Elementary Art Methods3.00 credit hours An interactive study of art education issues and practices for the elementary portion of K-12 Art Teacher certification. Through discussion, observation and modeling, students use state goals and curricula to develop a meaningful, integrated art program. The focus is on sequential skill building, expressive content lessons and teaching strategies based on the physical, social and emotional needs of the K-5 student.
Prerequisite(s): ART 107 , ART 110 , ART 120 , EDN 200 , acceptance into the Teacher Education Program. Concurrent enrollment in EDN 332 .
