PHYS 311 - Electronics for Physical Scientists4.00 credit hours
Survey of electronics with focus on application to scientific instrumentation and measurement. Topics include DC and AC curcuits and analysis, discrete semiconductors, operatonal amplifiers, digital principles, combinational and sequential logic, digital applications and microcontrollers as time permits. Focus is on applied learning in the laboratory. Laboratory required.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 152 and PHYS 162 or concurrent enrollment.
