NURS 520 - Evidence-Based Concepts in Human Resource Healthcare Management 3.00 credit hours This course examines the intersection of law, ethics, human resources and the role of the nursing leader in the healthcare workplace. It provides an overview of best practices in employee recruitment, selection, professional development, position analysis and job design. Topics such as corporate and healthcare provider liability, healthy workplace environments, diversity, equity and inclusion within the workforce will be covered. Nursing leader managerial behaviors that promote and maintain a professional healthcare practice environment are emphasized.
