DMSO 415 - Introduction to Pediatric and Vascular Imaging1.00 credit hours Discussion of pediatric and neonatal anatomy and imaging techniques. Newborn and pediatric pathologies are reviewed. Basic peripheral arterial, venous and carotid artery anatomy and pathology are studied. Imaging techniques, protocols, spectral and color flow Doppler interrogation and interpretation are discussed. Peripheral venous and carotid imaging is performed in a laboratory setting.
Prerequisite(s): DMSO 404 and DMSO 412 .
