HIST 275 - History of Sexuality4.00 credit hours (Same as GSST 275 ) The history of sexual attitudes, behaviors and identities. Topics may include birth control, abortion, prostitution, sexually-transmitted diseases, inter-racial sex, homosexuality, and/or related topics. Emphasizes socio-cultural and political constructions of categories like sex and gender, as well as their intersections with race and class. Explores political, social, religious, and scientific debates and controversies related to gender and sex.
