ENGL 126 - Children’s and Young Adult Literature4.00 credit hours An exploration of children’s and young adult genres from picture books to fiction, poetry, and/or graphic novels across historical periods and nations. Students consider how these texts often foreground reading and interpretation. Students create their own children’s and young adult texts and evaluate their appeal. May not be taken if credit has been earned for ENGL*122 or ENGL*124.
