MATH 490 - Seminar in Advanced Mathematics2.00 credit hours A critical evaluation, including modern-day and historical applications, of advanced topics not included in other mathematics courses. Emphasis is placed on reflecting upon and further developing each student’s philosophical view of mathematics as a discipline.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 421 or MATH 461 . Cardinal Directions Designation(s): Writing Intensive.
