KINE 113 - Resistance Training2.00 credit hours This course focuses on various type of resistance training including free weights, machines, resistance bands, medicine balls and others. Instruction on proper form and technique, selection of proper intensity, sets and repetitions, modification of exercises, progression of exercise and proper rest periods. Pre, mid and post assessments are administered to monitor improvement in muscular strength and endurance. Physical activity is required in this course. Please consult your physician prior to participating. If you have a concern regarding the activity, please consult the instructor.
