EDUC 331 - Elementary Methods: Art4.00 credit hours An interactive study of art education issues and practices for the elementary portion of K-12 Art Teacher certification. Through discussion, observation and modeling, students use state goals and curricula to develop a meaningful, integrated art program. The focus is on sequential skill building, expressive content lessons and teaching strategies based on the physical, social and emotional needs of the grades 1-6 student.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Teacher Education Program, ARTD 107 , ARTD 120 and ARTD 160 . Concurrent enrollment in EDUC 332 .
