ARTD 260 - Sculpture I: Modern and Contemporary4.00 credit hours An introduction to the critical principles and communicative possibilities of sculpture. Methods include exploring and researching the conceptual and technical works of modern and contemporary artists and their material exploration. The key concepts, materials and processes of sculpture using carving, modeling and construction are developed through individual projects, analysis and reflection.
