MOCT 525 - Geriatric Theory 3.00 credit hours Students gain an understanding of the process of aging and possible disorders and disabilities that may impair function in the geriatric population. Introduces the student to the etiology, symptoms and prognosis of geriatric disorders and their impact on occupational performance areas and components. Topics include frames of reference, assessment techniques, evidence based practice and intervention theories.
Prerequisite(s): MOCT 522 and MOCT 523 .
