ENGL 206 - British Literature and Culture of the 19th–21st Centuries4.00 credit hours Students explore 19th–21st century texts, a time of contradictions, with progress in science, industry, the expansion and then losses of the British Empire, and the rise of democratic movements (suffrage, labor, anti-imperial resistance) in and beyond England.
