ENGL 222 - Global Literature/Postcolonial Literature4.00 credit hours Students explore literature from the erstwhile colonies in South Asia, Africa and Australia to examine the relation between representation and nationalism. Students focus in particular on identity, gender, resistance and reconciliation. World Literatures.
Prerequisite(s): One of ENGL 104 , ENGL 106 or ENGL 108 . Cardinal Directions Designation(s): Humanities, Global Understanding.
