MLS 590 - Public Discourse 3.00 credit hours A study of the many levels of public discourse, as well as a broad range of examples of public discussion past and present. The course seeks to foster a sense of public responsibility, and to enable students to understand ways their own interests and academic concerns may be brought effectively into the arena of public awareness, debate and action.
