KIN 250 - Introduction to Sport Management

3.00 credit hours
The foundation or introductory course for sport management majors. The historical development of sport management as a profession and as an academic discipline is traced. The diverse variety of opportunities in sport management is presented. Selected functional areas of contemporary sport management are surveyed relative to supervisory responsibilities of the sport management professional.
