CHM 272 - Spectral Interpretation I1.00 credit hours This course will explore the variety of energy transitions involved in spectroscopic methods and the identification of organic structures by interpretation of the spectra produced from Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (1H & 13C), Infrared, Mass Spectroscopy and UV-Visible spectroscopy. This course will emphasize the individual problem solving techniques that can be utilized to identify organic structures by each of the techniques.
Prerequisite(s): CHM 220 .
