BIO 220 - Field Biology

1.00-3.00 credit hours
(Same as: ENV 220 .) Field study in biology. This course takes students off-campus into a field environment for research in ecology, zoology, botany, environmental science and/or related areas. Timing and location vary according to faculty interests and research opportunities. May be offered during D-term or in conjunction with a study abroad program. Examples of recent offerings include study of desert ecology in Arizona and estuarine ecology on the Gulf Coast. This course may be repeated once with different content and permission of the instructor.

Prerequisite(s): BIO 152 .
