|
How do our places shape who we are and our sense of belonging or alienation, including what we believe is possible? We are a product of our surroundings; and as such, it is important to explore the consequences of those surroundings on individual and communities’ pasts, presents, and futures. Experiencing Place examines how people and communities are shaped by their physical environments and living conditions. Students analyze how we come to be in particular spaces and places that can shift beneath our feet as time passes. Our places influence who we are and what we can become.
